Introduction

Hello! My name is Non. The blog talk about me, Phuket, The news in Thailand, my school life and story from my choice. I haven’t written blog before. I do my best and tried to make it good. If I make a mistake, please comment. I will improve and change it.

Where I live / My country

I live in Phuket, Thailand. Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand; the island is located in the south of Thailand. Phuket has many tourist places for example; Patong Beach is the most famous beach in Phuket. Rawai Beach is the peaceful place, many restaurants and bungalows are there. In addition Phuket has many festivals for example, Phuket Vegetarian Festival and Songkran Festival. There are only 2 seasons in Phuket, rainy season (from March to November) and hot season (from December to April). There is a lot of architecture from Malay Muslim, Chinese, Burmese, South Indian, Portuguese and British.

Hobbies / like / dislike

I like to play extreme sport in my free time for example BMX, Free Rider and Down Hill. I usually listen Jazz and Classical music especially Kenny G because it make feel good and relax. My personality is friendly, so I like to go out or go to school to meet and talk with my friend. I don’t like to stay at home, it make me feel lonely. I always get up at 6.00 o’clock and go out at 7.00 o’clock, but I’m in holiday now.

School life

I study at Prince Mother School. I’m in M.5 or grade 11. I study many subjects in one week (from Monday to Friday) for example English, Science, Math, P.E., Health, Thai, Social and Computer. My school starts at 8.00 o’clock and end at 3.50 o’clock. I have 11 classmates and many friends in other class. I very love my classmates because they are my best friend. I don’t want to say “Good Bye” to them, how ever I can’t run away from it. I play basket ball after school every day, therefore I have a lot of friend. I like to go to school because I love my school life.

Story from news

On 16 September,2007. The weather in Phuket very bad, therefore One-Two-Go Airline’s airplane fell at Phuket International Airport. On 18 September, 89 passengers were died and 42 passengers weren’t died. All of relative are very sad and afraid. Some relative are angry because One-Two-Go Airline doesn’t pat to relative and injured person. This situation will be clear in 2-5 days. I think captain should use discretion to control the airplane because every life in the airplane up to captain.

Alternative Energy

Alternative Energy means energy to replace fuel or petroleum. There are 2 types of alternative energy, Alternative (coal, natural gas, nuclear and oil shale) and Renewable (solar energy, wind, water and hydrogen).

Alternative
Bio Diesel is the oil from plant and animal fats. Bio Diesel is cheaper than diesel oil and emits carbon dioxide less than diesel but emit nitrogen more than diesel. There are 3 types of bio diesel. 1) Bio Diesel from plant oil (coconut oil, palm oil, peanut oil, soybean oil) or animal oil (lard). This type is bad quality because plant and animal are not clean, there should mix with diesel oil or alcohol.2) Bio Diesel mixed between plant oil or animal oil and diesel oil. This type is good quality but sometimes engine will broken.3) Bio Diesel mixed between plant oil or animal oil and alcohol, this type use base and acid to speed up the reaction (called transesterification) between oil and alcohol, therefore this type is the best quality.
Ethanol or Ethyl Alcohol is the fuel from small flour and sugar, use with diesel engine. Ethanol is the high quality fuel because ethanol very clean. If ethanol has high water, the engine will be nock and rust. There are 3 types of material to make ethanol 1) Farming Produce (rice, wheat, barley, millet, cassava and potato). 2) Sugar Produce (sugar-cane and sweet-millet. 3) Fiber Produce (fiber from farming produce including waste from factory).
NGV Gas (Natural Gas Vehicles) is the natural gas. NGV can reduce carbon-monoxide 50-80%, nitrogen-oxide 60-90%, and hydro-carbon 60-80%. If you want to use NGV you must install NGV engine and you must refuel at NGV station. NGV is cheaper than ethanol. NGV is the best natural gas although you must pay money to
install engine, but it worthwhile to pay.

Renewable
Solar Energy is the biggest energy from the sun, all living thing can not live with out it. You can use solar energy every where especially country around equator. Solar Energy can use to make electricity and to make heat energy called “Solar Cell”. Many scientists learned to use all of the energy but now they are learning to protect the earth from the global warming and ice melting.
Wind Energy is the Renewable because it never loss from the earth same as solar energy, but wind energy give less energy than the sun. Many countries in Europe are interested in this topic because Europe has a lot of wind. Denmark has many wind wheels because the power of wind very high in Denmark. Wind Energy will reduce coal to make electricity, therefore carbon dioxide will reduce too.
Water Energy is the energy from moving of water (hydropower or hydraulic power), use to make electricity (hydroelectricity). There are many ways to use the energy from water, use water wheel, open dam and release water to electricity motor. People used this way 200 years ago, at China and Far East were produced water wheel in 1830.

The Lord of The Ring (novel) talked about Human, Elvens, and Dwarves and Orcs, Goblins and Dark lord in the “Middle Earth”
The Lord of The Rings (movie) adapt from novel. The movie used many technologies and many special effects. The kind of the movie is action /adventure /fantasy. On 28 December 2001 (In Thailand) the movie was released the first called “The Lord of The Rings: The Following Ship of The Ring”. The movie was released the second and the third in 2002 and 2003 called “The Lord of The Rings: The Town Towers” and “The Lord of The Rings: The Return of The King”.

Tolkien is writer (novel “The Following Ship of The Ring”), Elijah Wood(Frodo Baggins), Viggo Mortensen (Aragorn), Orlando Bloom(Legolas), John Rhys-Davies (Gimli), Lan Mackenzie (Gandaf the Grey), Sean Bean (Boromir), Sean Astin (Sam), Dominic Monaghan (Merry), Billy Boyd (Pippin), Lan Holm (Bilbo Baggins) and Sala Baker (Sauron)
The Ring of power is the main point of the story. Frodo took the ring from his grandfather, after that he known the story about the ring. He went to Mordor to destroy the Ring. On the way he found many friends, Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Grandaf, Sam, Merry, Pippin and Boromir, but someone had died. The war was starting when Sauron had seen the Ring. He sent Nazgul (Black Rider) to take the Ring back to him. He sent many orcs to destroy Rohan and Gondor, but human won the war. Frodo stayed in the middle of the volcano and threw the Ring into fire lava.Sauron and orcs were killed by Frodo. Frodo and his friend went to find new land to live. The Middle Earth peaceful again.
I like this movie because it exciting and interesting. I used 9 hours to watch it and used concentrate to understand this movie, it like science (use reason). Think it is the best movie in my opinion.
In the video, Arogorn, Legolas and Gimili talking with Army of Dead because they need many forces to help Gondor. Frodo, Sam and Gollum traveling to Mordor, then Gollum and the Ring falling into the volcano. Cavalrys from Rohan fighting with orcs in front of Gondor. Grandaf (White Wizard) fighting with orcs in Gondor. The Tower of Sauron falling down because the Ring fell down into the volcano.

Jirayuwat

Chinese people belived that every meal should have enough nutrients. Chinese Noodles are long and uncut because the long noodles mean a long life, therefore noodles are usually served at birthday celebration. There are many types of Chinese Noodles, hot or cold, boiled or served with soup. Noodles have high protein and high carbohydrate but low calories.
Phuket is the biggest island in Thailand. It located in the southern of Thailand. Phuket has many beautiful places, therefore many tourists came to Phuet for example Patong Beach, Kata Beach, Rawai Beach etc. and there are many delicious food in Phuket too.
Jirayuwat located at Phang-Nga Road, near Fantasia Pub and Pearl hotel. Jirayuwat has been selling for 30 years. In the restaurant does not beautify, look like old Chinese-Style. Every thing in the restaurant are homely. In the afternoon many people came to have lunch here, therefore many people have no seat, but it worthy to wait. The restaurant opens everyday from 8.00 AM. - 4.30 PM.
There are many types of noodles for example Tom-Yam Noodles served with soup or Tom-Yam Noodles boiled. Soup made from shrimp. Noodles are made from wheat flour, rice and egg (but sometimes with out egg) mixed with water, then rolled and cut. After that boiled the noodles and put it in bowl and mixed with meat, pepper, garlic, sauce and shrimp, then served with soup. The noodles cook very quickly, less than 5 minutes but sometimes less than a minute. The noodles are taste good, meats are tender, soup are smell good. This is a perfect meal.
On the table have sugar, chili, pepper, vinegar and fish sauce. You can flavor if you want. The noodles should serve with drink, Coca-Cola. Sprite, Fanta, sugar cane juice, guava juice, ice-coffee, hot-coffee, hot-coffee with milk, ice-black tea, ice-milk, hot-milk and tea.
If you time you should come to Phuket and relax. Many things in Phuket have only one in this world.
